The typographical poster was created so that other designers, mainly beginner designers, are able to identify the anatomy of type. Although this solely focuses on the Sans Serif font Futura, I wanted to be able to create an educational poster that was both informative & visually appealing.

The idea was to split the word into its root meaning which comes from the Greek roots τύπος typos = "impression", & -γραφία -graphia = "writing". With that being said, I wanted to demonstrate the importance of how writing (or type) has a huge impact on the overall the design, or the impression of the design. The numbers correlate to the prospective place on the letter so that way it is easy to identify & understand what the word is referring to.
